Richard appeared in the Original West End productions of Into The Woods (Jack), Fame (Nick), Dirty Dancing (Neil), Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends (Co-Star) and Dr Strangelove. 

Also: Charlie and The Chocolate Factory (Mr Bucket), Quince in Michael Grandage's A Midsummer Nights Dream , Don Quixote (RSC) all West End and Paul Crouch in Tammy Faye for The Almeida

Other Theatre: Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Hermione in The Winters Tale, Henry V (Propeller/Hampstead) as well as The Merchant Of Venice (BAM New York). Ugly in Honk (Tour) and Burn, Citizenship for The National Theatre, Just So, Out Of This World and Damsels in Distress at Chichester Festival Theatre and Strictly Ballroom WYP/Toronto.
